Before installation - Preparing your Instagram and Facebook page
- For Claimbase to work, your Instagram account must be an Instagram Business or Creator account. To do this, click on the three horizontal lines in the top right-hand corner of your Instagram profile page → "Business tools and settings" → "Change account type”
- Your Instagram account must also allow access to messages. To do this, click on the three horizontal lines in the top right-hand corner of your Instagram page → "Messages and story replies" → "Message settings" → "Allow access to messages" must be activated:

Important:
- In case you change the password to your Facebook account, you must reconnect your Instagram page to Claimbase afterwards. The password change leads Facebook to invalidate the connection to Claimbase, causing Claimbase to not be able to function anymore.
Installing the app in your Shopify store
- After you have clicked on "Install" on the Claimbase app page in the Shopify App Store, you will first be guided through the authorization page and then the billing page. Confirm both pages by clicking on the respective button.
- Claimbase is then readily installed in your Shopify store
