This page describes what Shopify merchants need to know to successfully use the Claimbase sales channel.

Before installation - Preparing your Instagram and Facebook page

• For Claimbase to work, your Instagram account must be an Instagram Business or Creator account. To do this, click on the three horizontal lines in the top right-hand corner of your Instagram profile page → "Business tools and settings" → "Change account type”
• Your Instagram account must also allow access to messages. To do this, click on the three horizontal lines in the top right-hand corner of your Instagram page → "Messages and story replies" → "Message settings" → "Allow access to messages" must be activated:

• You also need a Facebook page that is linked to your Instagram page. You can set up a Facebook page and establish the connection between the pages at https://business.facebook.com/ (Home/ Homepage):

  

Installing the app in your Shopify store

• After you have clicked on "Install" on the Claimbase app page in the Shopify App Store, you will first be guided through the authorization page and then the billing page. Confirm both pages by clicking on the respective button. Claimbase is then readily installed in your Shopify store
• After installation, you can pin the Claimbase sales channel in your Shopify administration by clicking on the pin icon next to the Claimbase name in the navigation bar on the left-hand side of your screen:
